We are excited to announce that Trevidea S.r.l. has participated in the third season of the program “Mangiare con Gusto”, broadcast from May 15 at 21:30 and in reply from May 16 at 16:00 on Alma TV, channel 65 of DDT. For the third consecutive year, the programme was hosted by Adele Di Benedetto, a historical face of Alma TV and an expert journalist on food and tourism. The show took viewers on a delightful journey to discover good food, quality products, and artisanal productions that represent the treasures of our regions.
In this new season of the programme, the main regions are Lazio, Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna and Campania. Twenty episodes were dedicated to the preparation of recipes typical of regional cuisines and the promotion of excellent Italian products and agri-food companies. In addition, the collaboration with the National Association Città dell ‘Olio was renewed, with the aim of spreading the culture of Italian extra virgin olive oil, presenting olive landscapes of great value, local crops and production companies. The first episodes were dedicated to the presentation of recipes, products and services related to the cities of Olive Oil.
Another new feature of this season was the in-studio participation of producers, nutritionists and experts in the field, with whom Adele, in her capacity as hostess, discussed food, food waste and correct reading of food labels. Among the guests, we had Laura Rossi, a researcher and nutritionist from Crea Alimenti, Professor Giuseppe Nocca, a lecturer in Food Sciences and an expert in Archaeonutrition, Dr. Michele Stocola, a legal expert in food safety and labeling, Chiara Castelli, the owner of Salumificio Sa.No, with whom we discussed the significant European recognition of Amatriciana as a Traditional Speciality Guaranteed (TSG), Sabina Iovanna, the producer of Irpinia garlic, unveiled the six secrets of this product, and Rosaria Scardamaglia, the producer of Ars Avi, highlighted the importance of extra virgin olive oil.
